There are many things to consider….    Believe it or not, a lot really depends on how much you are spending on your wedding.   The more money you spend on a wedding, the more you are really going to want to have something to show for it.  To preserve the memories, that you will want to relive over and over again.  And what better way is there to relive the excitement, than with beautiful photographs that capture those precious moments.

Example if you are spending $50,000 for your wedding, you are going to want to make sure you have a very experienced wedding photographer to capture all those special moments.  Someone who can preserve all the elements of your wedding day like the emotions that run high in the morning, to the beauty in the flowers and decorations that create it, to the first kiss that define it.  A wedding photographer who can capture your wedding  day the way you want to remember it.   When you are spending a lot of money on a wedding you want to invest in someone who is a really great wedding photographer who can reflect it.

If you are only spending $100 then it may not be as important to spend a lot of money for a photographer.  Today with the improvements in cameras and technology amateur photographers are more popular than ever…  most cameras will take good pictures by most standards.  But really great ones come with a price.  The price being experience, a wedding photographer that knows lighting and knows weddings.

If you notice I have been using the term wedding photographer, instead of professional photographer.  One is not necessarily the same as the other.  A great wedding photographer is not only a great photographer.  A great photographer knows lighting and how to take great pictures.  But a wedding photographer is a photographer who knows weddings,  It is knowing all of the important shots, moments and memories that are important to preserve on your wedding day…   that can only come from experience.

How do you choose a wedding photographer?  Look for the experience, this generally comes with a price but not always.  Today many of the best wedding photographers know more than ever the importance of being frugal.  Check out their work.  Look at their pictures, testimonials, and years of experience.   Look at the experience say this is the wedding photographer i want to preserve my special day.  And let them know that you like their work, even if it is out of your price range and ask if they can help…

Don’t shop the price to find the photographer…..   Shop the Photographer and find the price….  There are a lot of people out there with good hearts and if you tell them how much you like their work but the price is out of budget…  What harm can it do to ask?  But don’t go at them with a wedding budget of $50,000 and ask them to take pictures for $500…..LOL     Don’t skimp on the photographer…!!!

Okay so me and my boyfriend are getting married. We want our wedding to be small and cheap with just a few family members. because of his and my college tuition fees and other things we dont really have the money for a big wedding therefore he wants to have it at the court house.  I was ok with that but now im not,  I want to have it at a chapel anywhere BUT the court house. As a Wedding Officiant I perform many beautiful weddings at places like The St Charles Conservatory.  And the Conservatory happens to be one of my favorites.  It is a beautiful tropical glass greenhouse wedding venue located in the quaint Historic District of St. Charles, Missouri since 1990. (St. Louis metro)

The St Charles Conservatory is a elegant and unusual setting for weddings, a tropical garden within the greenhouse and is surrounded outside by lush gardens and courtyards – the Conservatory offers a fairy tale wedding in your own private garden. The gardenhouse is heated and air-conditioned.  Plan a garden wedding anytime of the year!  In the early 70’s, the Historic District of St. Charles, MO was in the first stages of restoration. We restored the Western House and built the gardenhouse.

The gardenhouse was initially built as a working greenhouse for the sale of plants in the ‘back to nature’ mode of the time. In 1990, we reimagined the property and The Conservatory was created.

The 10-block restored area known as the South Main Historic District, positioned along the Missouri River offers wonderful ambience for wedding day activities.

Missouri Botanical Gardens – Looking for a Wedding Officiant for a beautiful Mo Botanical Gardens wedding?   Overlooking a serene 4 ½ acre lake with a footbridge, the Japanese Garden is one of the most photographed locations in the Garden.

With the rental of Japanese Garden, you are guaranteed an indoor ceremony site in inclement weather and a wedding assistant from Catering St. Louis who will be present for your rehearsal and your wedding ceremony.

Depending on the previous and current weather conditions, the Garden reserves the right to make the decision whether the ceremony will take place in the Japanese Garden.  There is an additional chair set up fee for a seated ceremony.
