It is highly recommended that specific parking directions are provided to wedding guests.  You can find a campus map here: http://parking.wustl.edu/parkingmap_2010.pdf.  Please note that Graham Memorial Chapel does not have an address because it is not on a street.  Guests who enter the Chapel’s name in a GPS program may be directed to the far end of campus.

Free parking is available in any YELLOW surface lot spot on Saturdays and Sundays.  The large lot to the east of the Danforth University Center is typically available for weekend parking.

The address for the Danforth University Center (where you can find a garage and a large surface lot immediately to the west) is 6475 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63105, and the entrance to the parking garage is located at Forsyth Blvd & Wallace Drive.  Pull into the garage, park closest to the north end of the garage (you will see north & south elevators), and take the north elevator up to the 1st floor.  Exit the building and make an immediate right on to the sidewalk.  Graham Chapel will be straight ahead.  Please note that this garage is not open on Sundays or some holiday weekends and will charge by the hour, payable by cash or card (exact change is not necessary).  Weddings wishing to validate parking for their guest must notify their Wedding Contact no less than four weeks prior to the wedding date to make proper arrangements.

Parking is not guaranteed for any wedding.  While your Event Contact will make every effort to notify you of large events on campus that may impede your guests’ ability to find nearby parking, this is not always possible.

Event Management must receive all ceremony cancellations in writing. Cancellations made one year to six months prior will be refunded fifty percent of the total reservation fee. If a cancellation is made within six months of the event date, no refund will be made.

Courthouse Wedding | Justice of the Peace | St Louis

Courthouse Wedding or Justice of the Peace?

Thinking of a courthouse wedding or Justice of the peace wedding?  There are many reasons to consider this option. “Spontaneous – Simple – Quick – Inexpensive” to name a few.  Couples have been choosing to have a courthouse wedding for many reasons for many years. However the truth is a courthouse wedding can be a rotten experience.  Sitting in the hallway with lawyers and probations – possibly for hours – is neither fast nor romantic.

And sometimes on some occasions after waiting are told to
come
back on the next available courthouse wedding day.

Many couples go to the courthouse for a coucourthouse weddingrthouse wedding wanting a fast, cheap, and easy marriage ceremony.  But in many cases that is not really what will they will get.

Getting married is something that should be cherished and celebrated.  Even if it is quick and easy.

Getting married is something that should be cherished and celebrated.  Even if it is quick and easy.

……Remember the old movies where the man climbs a ladder to his brides window and whisks her off to get married.  st-louis-wedding-leveledMany of these old romantic marriages took place at a Justice of the peace.  In Missouri there are no Justice of the Peace JOP

St Louis Wedding Chapel is a small Non Denominational Wedding Chapel.  Open to ALL FAITH’s regardless of your faith – religion –  or agnostic.  We believe in Love.

We are all on our own path to Enlightenment.

At St Louis Wedding Chapel – We perform Wedding 7 Days a Week.   Call…  314-472-5017

Getting married can be fast, easy, inexpensive – romantic & fun.  You can elope simply by dressing up for a night on the town or come as you are.  – There are no rules, be spontaneous and romantic.  At St Louis Wedding Chapel your wedding can be easy and memorable. Make it special, meaningful and uniquely yours.

We perform simple beautiful weddings in our chapel.

Starting at $125 for quick simple and beautiful wedding for the couple who just wants to run in and get married quick and easy.  Must have a Valid Mo. Marriage License and 2 witnesses.  This price only applies Mon- Fri during certain hours call for details   314-472-5017

Do it with Style at St Louis Wedding Chapel

 •  1  Go to your local Recorder of Deeds and register for a marriage license. The small fee varies by county. Obtaining a Marriage license in Missouri can be same day

 •  2  Designate your witnesses. Missouri requires two witnesses to oversee your union. Traditionally, this is the role of ast-louis-chapel-filtered maid of honor and best man. But a witness can be any adult over age 18.

 •  3  Pamper yourself on your wedding day. Every bride deserves a little indulgence. So allow a long bubble bath. Give or treat yourself a manicure and pedicure, or even get your hair done.  You are a princess that day, no matter how simple your ceremony will be.

 •  4  But even if your plans are simple you can still get dressed up.  Buy yourself a pretty new dress or a cute new top. You de
serve to look and feel special.  It is an investment in you that will make you glow with happiness as you become a Mrs.

 •  5  Carry flowers. Even if you cannot afford a specialty bouquet, pick a handful of wildflowers and tie with ribbons. These small details will help you feel the part of a blushing bride.

 •  6  Assign a photographer. Whatever you do, don‘t skip this part. Pictures preserve the occasion and the memories. Have a friend or family member take snapshots before, during and after the wedding. Our Wedding Chapel make for beautiful memories. Go to the park, take pictures at a restaurant or go right down the street to River City Casino . there is a lot of beautiful scenery inside and out to take pictures.  These moments of love deserve to be framed and remembered.

 •  7 Plan what to do after the ceremony. Go out to eat with your witnesses and family members. Go somewhere you can afford and enjoy. A dinner after your ceremony makes the wedding feel official, giving you the perfect opportunity to laugh, love and share the beauty of the love you and your new spouse share. After the dinner, consider going away on a short retreat that is rejuvenating and fun, even if it is a simple night at a local motel.

A change of scenery can make all the difference. If that isn’t in the budget or your time frame, before you leave for the wedding ceremony, make your home into a honeymoon retreat. Make sure the bed is made up with fresh linens. Turn off the phone and anything else that could disturb you. Have a couple of candles set out, and don‘t forget a few luxuries such as a bottle of wine and maybe some chocolates.st-l-wedding-chapel-leveled

Wedding ReviewsWedding Officiant Reviews & Testimonials

Sark performed a civil ceremony for me and my husband on 4/9/2016 at Piper Palm House. The ceremony was so beautiful. After the ceremony, several of our guests commented on how beautiful Sark made our ceremony. Many of our unmarried guests said they would like him to officiate their wedding and a few of our married guests said they wished Sark would have officiated their wedding. Our family and guests are still talking about what a great job Sark did. I would definitely recommend Sark to anyone who is looking for an amazing wedding officiant. Anytime I had a question, he was extremely easy to get a hold of. He really cares about how the couple wants their ceremony to go. He is very professional and punctual. Me and my husband were not very familiar with the process of wedding ceremonies, but Sark guided us through everything and explained all the different options to us and just made everything so easy for us. Sark is so friendly and passionate about his work. There is no doubt in my mind that we had the best wedding officiant. Everything about Sark is amazing.

Many of our guests told us later that our wedding was one of the best, if not THE best, wedding they had ever been to, and that the Officiant had a lot to do with that. Rev. Sark had many useful suggestions for our ceremony and helped construct a memorable event. He is always smiling and a genuinely warm person who exudes a happy vibe that others like to be around. He is eloquent in speech and not pompous or pretentious. While masterfully guiding and leading our ceremony, Rev. Sark ensured that it was we who were getting married who were the highlight of the ceremony. I highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to have a happy and beautiful wedding.

Where do I begin?! Having Sark perform at our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made, hands down. He spoke from the heart and really helped in making our vows unique and heartfelt. He’s outgoing and always has a smile on his face. He knows that this day doesn’t happen everyday and he truly helped in making it wonderful. Our ceremony could not have gone any smoother and he was extraordinarily easy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs an excellent officiant for their special day.

Just wanted to take a minute and thank you for being a part of our special day.  All night and the days following we kept hearing:  “Your

ceremony was so personal, so you, I laughed and I cried”

“Your minister was the best I have ever seen.”

You gave us the ceremony of our dreams.    Thank you so very

Rev. Sark was perfect! We couldn’t have been happier with our ceremony and everything leading up to it. He was actually the first and only officiant we interviewed – we loved him right away! He was always available for a phone call or to meet in person to discuss anything we wanted for our ceremony. He knew exactly what we wanted and even gave us some great ideas that we had not thought of but worked perfectly! His personality is so warm and friendly, and just makes you want to smile and give him a hug! I loved that he made the ceremony touching and meaningful, but still added a bit of humor to lighten the tears! Both of our families told us that he was just wonderful. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Reverend Sark did an outstanding job during our wedding! He was willing to sit down with my husband and I and explain the whole ceremony outline. He added in fresh and modern ideas that really fit our relationship. Joe and I come from Catholic backgrounds and he was able to keep it traditional and modern to fit our needs. Reverend Sark was extremely personable, professional and organized. He showed up on time and organized to the rehearsal and ceremony. I felt like he understood Joe and I on a personal level as well as our relationship. We was able to understand the both of us with only two meetings. If you wanted to meet more, I am sure he would be willing to do so. Joe and I had full confidence with Reverend Sark the entire time. He is extremely easy to talk to and get along with. We got so many compliments after our wedding about how wonderful Reverend Sark was and where did we find such an amazing officiant? I would highly recommend him for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

I knew Rev Sark was the perfect officiant for us the first time I spoke with him on the phone. He was so helpful, knowledgable, and caring. He officiated our wedding at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. Our wedding guests really enjoyed our ceremony because of Rev Sark. He offered many great suggestions when planning the ceremony, one of which was the unity sand ceremony. All 30 of our guests participated and it was amazing!

Rev Elking was amazing and made our wedding ceremony perfect! He was so helpful with coordinating the details of our ceremony and was a huge help with writing my vows. His warm and jovial personality made us feel like he was an old friend rather than an acquaintance.

Most importantly, we could tell that Rev Elking spoke from his heart as he performed our ceremony. His emotion was genuine, his words were beautiful, and that is one of the special memories I will cherish from my wedding. And of course, all of our guests commented on how they loved our ceremony. ? Thank you Rev Elking!

Rev. Sark Elking was a great choice to be our wedding officiant. He was always able to be reached and was very professional. He was willing to make the ceremony however we wanted but also had great ideas for when we had no idea what to do. He led a beautiful ceremony for any denomination and we were lucky to find him.

We highly recommend Sark Elking as an excellent wedding officiant. We are a “mature” couple that wanted a nice but low-key wedding ceremony, and Sark understood this perfectly. He was flexible in meeting with us on our schedule, and offered great ideas for the ceremony. We were married at Mineos Restaurant at Westport and he showed up early and walked us through all the details. Best of all, his ceremony was perfect, with a mixture of humor and sincerity. We had a wonderful wedding, thanks in no small part to Sark Elking!

We hired Sark Elking as our wedding officiant for our wedding ceremony at the Jewel Box in St. Louis. Sark was a great help in guiding me on how to write our ceremony. He made great

suggestions and offered experienced advice. We also hired his wife, Teri, to coordinate the ceremony. She was amazing! They guided us through the decisions we had to make and were very professional. They took time out of their busy schedules to attend our rehearsal dinner and make sure everything was just right. These two know how to run a show and you can tell they love what they do!! I highly recommend them!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for all of your assistance with the wedding of my good friends Mark & Sue last Saturday.

Despite the heat and a last-minute change of venue, the ceremony was absolutely lovely.  Your words were perfect and very moving.  You truly have a gift of being able to put the right words together for people you hardly know!  I was very impressed with that ability.

Out of all the hundreds of Google results that came up for my search, I think there must have been a bit of “divine intervention” that led me to your site.

Thanks again for making the day perfect.     –    Shirley

I don’t know why this is coming up 4.9 for the overall rating, as it should be a PERFECT 5. We would rate Reverend Sark even higher, if we could. My husband and I both love him! He was extremely flexible and accommodating. When we needed it, he provided spot-on advice. He is a great speaker, and more importantly, his message was loving and inspirational. We had a small, private ceremony and afterwards my husband commented that it was almost a shame that there weren’t more there to share such a beautiful ceremony. He would easily be an appropriate wedding officiant for two or two thousand guests. If he gave a weekly service, you would find us in his church every Sunday. We recommend him without hesitation.
