Private Morning Ceremony Only:

You will have access to a private Bridal Room upstairs and the ceremony location to begin setting up decor at 9:00 am. Your private ceremony will begin at 10:00 am, with time for Wedding Party and Family photos before the winery opens to the public at 11:00 am.

They also provide you with an in – house coordinator to direct and assist the processional.

Your reception will follow the ceremony with reserved seating (while we are open to the public) and designated service staff for up to 80 guests. Chandler Hill provides white linens, white, napkins, tables, chairs, glassware, silverware and china for your reception. Your in – house coordinator will also assist you with selecting a menu if you chose to have a breakfast or luncheon from our Catering Menu.

the Park at Lafayette Square is a beautiful St Louis Venue for an outdoor wedding. Lafayette Square Park is located near Soulard just south of downtown St Louis. Lafayette Park is said to be the oldest park west of the Mississippi River.

It is located in the heart of Lafayette Square, St. Louis’ first historic district. See for yourself why so many people say Lafayette Park is the most beautiful park in the city!

Weddings & Private Events in Lafayette Park

The Park House, Gazebo in Lafayette Park as well as the restored bridge and grotto are available year-round for rental. The Park House was originally built as a police substation in the 1800s and retains its historic charm. In recent years it has been refurbished and is used for meetings by neighborhood organizations. In 2009 the attached Gazebo was completed. Lafayette Park Weddings are often held on the restored bridge over the grotto, also. The Kern Pavilion (aka “the boathouse”) is newly restored and available for rent.

Kern Pavilion Specifics:

Rental fees are $80/hour, with a minimum of four hours. In addition, a $500 security deposit is required for all events.
The City has a set of preferred caterers for events at the Kern Pavilion. These caterers are the only companies permitted for use at the Kern Pavilion. All food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, must be provided by one of these caterers. They are: Square One Brewery & Distillery, Moulin Events, Butler’s Pantry, Hendri’s, and Westwood Catering.
It is available for rent from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight, seven days a week.
Maximum capacity: 60 people for a seated event, 100 people for a cocktail reception.
A tent can be rented from a private source and placed on the north side of the building.
The pavilion is handicapped accessible.

Morning wedding ceremonies are becoming more and more the trend. Times are changing, people are looking for new ways to reinvent the wheel. Many couples want unique. For their wedding to be different than others in their family. And it is not always about the money. Morning or daytime wedding ceremonies do have other perks.

• Like finding venue that might not otherwise be available

For an Early morning wedding you might be able to pick a setting that wouldn’t be available later in the day. Also having an earlier wedding can give you more flexibility with attire – brides can feel comfortable wearing short or nontraditional gowns and guys might go all Miami Vice.

How about serving brunch and having mimosas and maybe a Bloody Mary bar at your morning wedding. Remember that daytime weddings are just like their evening – if the couple is having a good time, so will everyone else.

• And lets not forget affordability

I did say it’s not always about the money but lets face it. Morning weddings often are considerably cheaper than the evening weddings because they take place at a time when vendors typically open and not booked, Which means big discounts, if the timing on your wedding allows vendors to work another event later in the day. In addition, brunch or lunch menus typically are priced lower than dinner; but if you’re on a really tight budget, Try an early ceremony followed by cake and punch, or pastries and coffee and juice, and then a smaller dinner reception later for family and close friends.
